Please make sure to check out Fantasy Football Draft Boards in Burlington, Vermont, DraftKings.com and Fanduel.com when you get a minute. Although we’re still a few months away from fantasy football, it’s never too early to start planning.

If you haven’t been here in a while, please also make sure to check out some of our most recent mock drafts. With the help of some fancy mock draft tools, we were able to compile an 8 team fantasy football mock draft, to give you an idea of what could be. 8 Team Fantasy Football Mock Draft (1st selection)

With the first overall pick in a standard 8 team fantasy football draft, I was able to put together the following team. My strategy in this draft was to start with a stud RB (obviously), and then go with 3 solid WR’s in a row. Before the draft started, I anticipated going with Charles first overall and was praying that Odell Beckham JR would be there when my second pick came back around (16 overall).

Of course, Beckham JR went 14th overall followed by Demaryius Thomas. My second pick was Julio Jones followed by Calvin Johnson, so I would be hard-pressed to say it didn’t work out well for me. With that said, Megatron has missed a plethora of games over the last few years, so I wanted to make sure to pick up Golden Tate in the later rounds.

I think that Brandin Cooks is going to have a breakout year in 2015, so I had no hesitation to draft him in the 4th round with my 32nd overall pick. My 33rd pick was for Peyton Manning – why not?

The RB selection was growing thin when my 6th round selection came up, but I decided to grab Latavius Murray and Amari Cooper with back to back picks. Why not grab a few Raiders?!

Luckily, I was able to pick up Golden Tate in the 8th round if (or when) Calvin Johnson goes down in 2015. And despite having an incompetent QB under center, I feel good about Brandon Marshall in the 9th round.

Many more 2015 fantasy football mock drafts to come, but what do you think about my selections here?
